If you follow the same people I do on Twitter, you would have noticed a ton of chatter coming out of The Sundance Film Festival last month about the film BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD. Director Benh Zeitlinâs film generated perhaps the largest amount of buzz emanating from that snow covered festival. So much so, Fox Searchlight snatched it right up within the first few days of fest. Now the film has gotten itself a theatrical release date of June 29.
